We stayed for 2 night and enjoyed our stay. Big size rooms, the accommodation included a sofa bed, central heating, and a work desk. Having a bathtub was great. It was protected with smoke detectors. Location was unbeatable and excellent, so close to the farm...

I stayed at this lovely cottage in Newark for a few days and had a great experience. The hosts were incredibly flexible with our arrival and departure times, making it stress-free for us. James, in particular, was friendly and approachable. The cottage was small, as they had mentioned beforehand, but it was clean and perfect for our needs. The highlight for the kids was definitely climbing up the ladder to get into bed. The beds were so comfy and clean that I had the best night's sleep in a long time. The shower was excellent and the fluffy white towels were a nice touch. The surroundings were beautiful, with sunflowers adding a cheerful touch. The hosts were also very helpful and provided clear directions and information prior to our arrival. The location was peaceful but still close to both Newark and Sherwood Forest, which was convenient. Another great aspect was that we were able to bring our dog along at no extra charge. a wonderful experience with friendly hosts and a cozy, well-kept cottage.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The cozy barn had a stunning view of the cow field, and the owner, James, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He even offered to cook for us since there was no oven. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable for a family. We loved seeing the cows, chickens, hares, and wag tails in the nearby field.
The location was quite remote, which made it difficult for us to get around without a car.

We had a wonderful stay at Brecks Cottage. The location was beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding fields. The owner, James, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The cottage itself was cozy and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was excellent and the fluffy white towels were a nice touch. We also appreciated the flexibility of the hosts with regards to our arrival and departure times. we had a peaceful and relaxing stay.
It would have been nice to have some tea and coffee facilities in the cottage, but it wasn't a big issue. The buzzing noise from something in the room was a bit annoying, but we managed to switch it off.

The accommodation was unique and well-equipped for a short stay. the secure yard was perfect for our dog, and the evening sunshine could be enjoyed from the garden seat outside. the hosts were flexible with our arrival and departure times, and James was friendly and approachable. the location was fabulous, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It was much better than staying in a standard hotel room.
The fold-out bed was uncomfortable for sleeping, but we managed for the two nights. A bigger TV would have been nice but not essential.
